Welcome to Locanda Della Stazione
Urbino Railway Station was inaugurated on 20 September 1898, together with the Urbino–Pergola section of the Urbino–Fabriano railway. For almost ninety years, it was a place of departures, arrivals and encounters, until the railway line was closed on 31 January 1987.
Today, thanks to the passion of Gabriele Di Gregorio, this historic landmark has been brought back to life, becoming a place where history, hospitality and authentic Italian cuisine come together.
As Professor Giuseppe Biagetti beautifully wrote:
"You don't leave from Urbino Station; you arrive, take a seat and enjoy traditional dishes and a truly unique pizza. You don't leave Urbino Station—you come back, because it's not just a restaurant; it feels a little like home."
At Locanda Della Stazione, we serve traditional Neapolitan-style pizza with a long-leavened dough and a high, airy crust, alongside authentic dishes inspired by the culinary traditions of the Marche region, prepared with carefully selected ingredients.
